I want a Home Theater!

Have been fussy recently, indeed, very fussy! Those low quality RMVB files can no longer satisfy my movies need. I thought DVDRip would be better, and then it comes out with HDRip now. I always opted for the best or die keep trying =p The problem is, I know I got the best quality video format, but my just-a-normal-laptop will not be able to perform like what the video format would have allowed me to. So, the solution? *Fingers crossed* and with Evil plan inside my head =p Ta-da! Home Theater System! Addicted to HTiB (Home Theater in a Box) recently.

Been spending whole day browsing about Home Theater System today. Ended up with an inconclusive conclusion =p
  • It seems to me that every of them who has a home theater system is using only 42” Full HD LCD or Plasma, few are using HD projectors though.
  • Pioneer is the most common HTiB, others might choose different mix and match with a variety brands of speakers and subwoofer which I never heard before just like how we usually unaware of those professional level stuffs right?
  • A good A/V receiver for beginner costs RM 2,000.
  • Most of them set their home theater in the living room, only few are actually using a room to be their “theater”
  • Blu-Ray is their choice and Play Station 3 is the most common and cheap Blu-Ray player.

Why would I say it was an inconclusive conclusion? Those are just basic I was talking about, I would have to dig deeper for more information, like setting up the speakers and the system, which cable to be used, etc. Like most of the interest, getting yourself deeper means spending more money! My friend is right, this world is so good when you got the money to spend, there are just too many well produced, high-end products to spend on. Although most people might see it very extravagant, the people who are using it will know the difference.

The point is, I don’t have money *sigh* So have to spend it wisely. Dream is always a dream, the fact is that, we live in the opposite world of dream, and the world is called “reality”.

This guy is living my dream except on the seat part, it doesn’t really look too comfortable for a movie day, and I really think the speakers' cables can be hid inside the wall, it looks much better and I’ll just have to clean the speaker for dust, not also the cables:-

After writing so much, I must at least have something in mind, I definately have to earn more money to buy myself one of these A/V room!!! Hmm... we shall see =)

Going for a movie later =) Transformer 2, superb surround there! Let's experience what's the real theater like!
